Council for Disability Awareness  – Email Campaigncda_html

An Allegro client referred us to the Council for Disability Awareness (CDA), a not-for-profit that helps the American workforce become aware of the growing instances of disability and its financial consequences. Allegro re-strategized the CDA’s email outreach campaign to raise awareness. We developed more attention-getting subject lines, made content suggestions, and set up methods for tracking responses. We also recommended resending the original email to recipients who didn’t open the first communication. The initial email received a 13.5% open rate. The follow-up email to contacts who had not opened the original email received an 8.2% open rate.

Genworth Financial – Long Term Care Insurance Landing Page

groupltci_landing-page_login_pageAllegro set up a series of landing pages so that Genworth customers could opt-in to upgrade their existing Long Term Care Insurance coverage. Current customers received a drive-to-web letter encouraging them to take advantage of an opportunity to upgrade their coverage. The person’s log-in code would take them to a custom landing page based on the company that provided their group coverage. Recipients simply went to the website, entered the code from their letter, checked a box, and their coverage was upgraded. Now that’s an easy way to buy insurance.

From initial concepts to employees’ mailboxes — in four weeks.

The Long Term Care Insurance Division of Genworth Financial needed to launch a new product — Group Long Term Care Insurance. And, they needed it done fast. The first “customers” for the group coverage were to be Genworth’s ow n employees.

Due to the excitement surrounding this new product, it was important to create the marketing and fulfillment materials as quickly as possible. Genworth requested that Allegro develop brand new communications to introduce Group Long Term Care Insurance to Genworth employees. We were asked to design attention-getting, up front postcards and direct mail packages, and create a complete fulfillment kit to explain product details and benefits, pricing, and the easy enrollment options.

In less than one month, Allegro created the introductory d irect mail components, informational brochures and sell sheets, and corresponding e-mail communications to build awareness of the upcoming Employee Enrollment Period. In addition, a fulfillment kit was designed, produced, and delivered to employees’ mailboxes in time for the start of the offer.

Targeting an audience familiar with insurance products, we emphasized the specific need for Long Term Care Insurance. Most importantly, we made the plan features quick and easy to understand and the application process as simple as possible. The primary message of the marketing efforts focused on the need for employees to help protect themselves and their families from the high cost of long term care.

The program has already seen amazing results, and Genworth is very pleased with the response. Within just one month of the product launch, over 1,000 policies have been written for Genworth employees. In fact, the enrollment period was extended to accommodate additional employees. And, Allegro continues to develop versatile materials for other companies who plan to offer Genworth Group Long Term Care Insurance to their employees.

What if you need to send out 30 individual mailings this week?

Discover® Network, the credit card processing and transaction unit for Discover® card, builds its merchant network by using highly personalized and relevant direct marketing materials. Since each representative has different needs in different regions, every mailing is custom. With over 100 internal “clients,” how could the marketing department keep up?

Allegro was called in to develop a unique direct marketing on-demand system that is customized, easy to use, completely automated, integrated, and fool-proof. It was important that the marketing and sales staff could quickly access the system and send mailings out in a matter of minutes.

Allegro recently launched FRESH — Custom Direct Marketing On-Demand for Discover Network. This system allows each sales representative or marketing manager to launch individual direct marketing campaigns to a specific contact list, or order customized brochures and sales materials.

For instance, a representative can send an introductory postcard customized to a particular industry — such as restaurant, salon, auto repair, or child care merchants — and then follow-up with an industry-specific direct mail package or fulfillment kit. These materials all feature personalization with the sales rep’s name and contact information.

Once they select a mailing, sales reps then review it, receive an online proof, and approve the mailing for production. FRESH can be accessed from any Internet-connected computer, and the process is completely automated to reduce the chance of human error.

In addition, Discover Network management has supervisory control at an administrator level as a “super-user” and can approve or cancel campaigns in the system, view results, and make changes to user information. Marketing managers can also upload new direct marketing lists and make changes to existing campaign materials in real-time from any computer.
